The second round of availability for the charity tribute stickers made in honor of our hero, Dan Gurney, is now open. Sticker orders will be accepted from Monday, March 26 through Friday, March 30. Proceeds go to the Hoag Hospital Foundation (HHF), the chosen charity of the Gurney family. From the first round of charity sales, $9210 was raised and sent to HHF.
The thick, durable 4-inch round stickers are $15 each.
Working with Kathy Weida at All American Racers and C.C. Hafner, the Director of Major Gifts for the HHF, we’ve come up with two simple options for purchase. Since the HHF does not have a mechanism to process orders and mail stickers, they’ve asked me to be the point of intake, shipping, and donation.
Option 1: You can buy however many you like online through the secure PayPal ‘Buy Now’ button below. If you’re ordering through PayPal, the amount of stickers and all of your shipping information will be captured in the transaction. PayPal also allows you to use debit and credit cards for payment.
Option 2: If you’re more inclined to send a check, that’s also fine. If you’re paying by check, please include a note with how many you want and add “IMO Dan Gurney” on the bottom left of the check. Make them out to Marshall Pruett, and send them to 1000 Beethoven CMN 301, Fremont, CA 94538.
Sales end Friday because this weekend is the last free one on my calendar until late June, so the majority of order processing, which takes a significant amount of time, will need to be completed on Saturday and Sunday. For those sending checks, I’ll mail them out as quickly as I can once they’re received, and thank you for helping the HHF in Dan’s name.
(If you’re outside the U.S., send me an email through the contact page and we can figure out the shipping costs.)
